The Importance of Candle Care
Candle Care
At first glance, candles may seem like simple objects that provide a warm and inviting glow to your space. However, there’s more to candles than meets the eye. Behind their flickering flames lies a world of tranquility, ambiance, and an art form that requires careful attention and practice
Tips for Optimal Burning
Burn candles in a well ventilated area
Make sure your wick is trimmed between burns (1/4 of an inch)
Allow the candle to burn at least 1-1.5hrs to allow a complete melt pool (reach edge of glass). Wax has a memory and without complete melt pool, tunnelling can occur
If tunnelling has occurred, simply scoop out the wax that is stuck to the glass with a spoon, scoop enough out to level the wax
Discontinue burning your candle when 1/2 inch of wax remains, it is perfectly normal to have wax left over in the bottom of your candle.
To clean, simply place left over wax in freezer, once frozen crack the wax and remove, wick base can be removed as well. Submerge in hot water and clean
Never leave lit candle unattended
Keep burning candles out of reach of children and pets
